ELECTRICIDAD

Hey Fans, its that time again to talk about our latest character as we are getting ready for the first comic book convention for 2019.

I wanted to create a character strong and powerful enough to stop and even deafeat our superhero ComicBookGuy. I came up with a  idea in making my latest villian a woman. As for her name, I took out my dictionary to begin my search. I came across the word "Dynamic" and its definition according to Webster "Of or pertaining to physical forces or energy. Energetic, active; forceful."

This was perfect for my latest character. To make it more interesting from the word dynamic, I shortened it to Dyna. She would have the power of electricity and so my latest character was born sort of.

I had a model to model Dyna and not only was she athletic but she as beyond beautiful, she was GORGEOUS! She was interested in modeling my character Dyna but she decided to return to school which I respected her decision so the Dyna character was on hold. One day, I was having a meeting with my ComicBookGuy model at the time and he mentioned that his sister was a model/actress and she might be interested in modeling Dyna. I asked him to let me know when we can meet. He called her and gave my cell to her and a few days later we met. Her name is Alexis.

With Alexis on board,  I had to make some changes. The first change is to make Dyna a Latina and the second change was to her name. I needed a new name to match our model as she is of Latin descent. I came up with the name Electricidad and so my latest character was reborn. To keep up with the momentum, I created a bio for Electricidad and here it is:

' THIS ELECTRICAL BEAUTY HAS ONE SHOCKING PERSONALITY. SHE IS EXTREMELY ENERGETIC AND IS FORCEFUL. WHEN DOING A JOB, IT HAS TO BE HER WAY OR NO WAY AS SHE PUTS IT. SHE CAN NOT ONLY ABSORBS ENERGY FROM ANY POWER PLANT BUT CAN ABSORB BIO ENERGY FROM ANY LIVING BEING. SHE LOVES THE CLOUDS AS THEY HELP HER BECOME A LIVING LIGHTING ROD AND SHE CAN CHANNEL THAT POWER. SHE CAN GENERATE LARGE QUANTITIES OF ELECTRICITY THAT EQUALS TO ONE MILLION VOLTS. SHE HAS COME THE CLOSEST IN DESTROYING COMICBOOKGUY. HER MAIN WEAKNESS IS WATER."

We did a photo shoot with Alexis as Electricidad and here are the pics from that shoot:

Alexis moved on but I was grateful to her and to her brother for their support. I did not do anything with the Electricidad character until 2014 and here is the story behind that:

March 2014 and Megacon was here in Orlando Fl but what a disaster it was for me. There were issues with my makeup artist, a model cancelling at the day of her debut appearance at Megacon, the photography team but the worst offender was our ComicBookGuy model at the time. A day before where he was going to make his debut as ComicBookGuy, he went to a concert. When he arrived at Megacon the next day, he was a mess. As I said before, Megacon 2014 was a disaster and after I left Megacon, I started to question myself that if all of this hard work is it really worth it. Do I really need all of these headaches? All of my time and money going into this project and am I making a difference? These were some of the questions I was asking myself as self doubt was taking over. While I was thinking of ending my project and move on, I received an email from a model/actress. Her name is Shakira.

In her email, she said that she had been following my work and she would love to help me and in the email she included her cell phone number. I read her email several times and I said to myself is she talking to me? Is this a joke? Does she really want to work with me? These were the questions I was asking myself. There was only one way to find out. I called her and she answered. I introduce myself and told her I received her email stating she wanted to model one of my characters. She was excited and said yes she was very interested in working with me. She knew one of my former models. She mentioned his name and he was my original  ComicBookGuy model. I said to myself if she knew him, she was for real. I told her that I would like to meet her in person and we can talk some more.

We met at a Panera Bread and the first word that came to my mind once I saw her in person was "WOW!" She was truly model material. We started talking and she told me she sent me an email before but I did not respond. I must of deleted it by accident  I told her. She told me she was very interested in modeling one of my characters. I told her that since she knew my original  ComicBookGuy model that I wanted to work with her. I told her I wanted her to model Electricidad and showed her pics of her predecessor and she loved the character. She wanted to change Electricidad's look and costume. We used our phones to come up with ideas for her makeup and costume which we did. After that, she told me she was going to help me.

I said to her that she is helping me by modeling my character. She told me she was going to help us get is on 100.3 FM La Rumba here in Orlando Fl. I asked her how she was going to do that. She told me one of her classmates in acting school is a producer of La Rumba. This changed everything for me as this gave me a new outlook for my project and what I was going. Shakira ordered her boots while I ordered her dress, gloves and wig.  While her costume parts were coming, I began working on her script for her intro video as I found an upcoming photographer/videographer John Hernandez to help with this project. All of Sharika's costume parts came in and we began to work right away. We worked on her photo shoot and video. Shakira's makeup was done by Makeup Massacre. Here are the pics:

Shakira finally made the meeting of her classmate/producer of La Rumba. She told me Shakira mentioned  to her about my project and she was interested in having us on La Rumba's morning show in Orlando Fl with John Musa and Jenny Castillo. I immediately said yes and also invited my Incinerate model at the time as well as John Hernandez and Angel Anaya as they filmed us and took our pics. Here are the pics from La Rumba:

That was Shakira;s last appearance as Electricidad as she moved on for better opportunities.  I will be always grateful to her for not only what she did with the Elctricidad character but especially for getting us on the radio and also restoring my faith in what I was doing! Thank you Shakira!

In late 2018, I was looking for a model to model my vampire character Temptest. There were two profiles I saw on Model Mayhem so I sent two emails to them. One responded and made her debut at the Power Ranger Convention in Orlando Fl. A few weeks later, the second model responded and was interested as well. I decided to hire her as my new Electricidad model. Her name is Mercedes. Here is Mercedes being made up as Electricidad. Make up done by Chris. E. Mistery:

TEMPTEST

DEMON OF DESIRE

Hey Fans, with the success of vampire theme movies like "Twilight" and "Underworld" and recently the television series "The Vampire Diaries" I wanted to create a vampire character for my comic book.

The first thing was to decide whether to make my vampire a male or a female. I was tempted to make my vampire character a male but then it struck me as I was tempted so I decided to makle my vampire a female and her name will be Temptest. Inspired, I created a bio for my character:

"An Attractive Vampire who uses her looks to get victims and once bitten, they are under

her control  and do her bidding. Temptest has a pet Chupacabra named Fang and he finds and

brings victims to his mistress. A narcissist creature, Temptest is always concern about her looks
and is seen either brushing her hair or sharpening or flossing her fangs. Cannot transform

into a bat but can fly. Sunlight and Garlic are her weakness." I also wrote what she would say

her victims:

IF YOU RUN, I WILL CATCH YOU.
IF YOU HIDE, I WILL FIND YOU.
YOUR BODY AND MIND WILL BELONG TO ME.
WHO AM I?

I AM TEMPTEST, DEMON OF DESIRE.

Now, I need to find a model to model Temptest. I placed an ad on Craigslist to find someone to
model my latest character. A few days later, someone responded. Her name was Sara. I set up a
time to meet with her. She had that look that I like for my vampire. She needed some pics of
her to build her portfolio so I made a deal with her to help her with her portfolio in exchange
she would model my character and she agreed.

While I was getting her Temptest costume, my photographer at that time took Sara's pics for
her portfolio. Once her pics were done, I found all of the parts for the Temptest character.
I even found someone to model Temptest's victim.

The day of the shoot came and what a disaster it was. Sara was very difficult to work with. She
used foul language and had a bad attitude. The sad part was she didn't want to wear her
vampire teeth. After that, I took Sara home. Maybe she was having a bad day I thought or
maybe she was nervous. I gave her some time off.

During that time off, someone contacted me saying he wanted to model a character of mine.
He had a build and was interested in modeling Fang, Temptest's pet Chupacabra. Someone on
my team at the time also found foam fitting teeth to make it easier for Sara to wear. I called
Sara to see if we can set up a time to do this photo shoot with Fang. She gave some poor
excuses but she said a photographer was going to take her pics and she can bring her
Temptest's costume and have the photographer take some pics of her and then send them to
me. I agreed but I also told her we found a solution for her vampire teeth. She immediately
cut me off before I explained and said she would only use toothpicks. I tried to tell her again

about the foam fitting teeth but she refuse to listen and said she would wear toothpicks. I did

not continue and asked when should I get her pics and she said in a few days. I ended my call

with  her giving her the benefit of the doubt. I wasn't happy with her as for someone who was
modeling a vampire, didn't want to wear vampire teeth and wanted to use toothpicks. I was
not going to let that happen if she wanted to continue to model Temptest. A few days had

passed and no pics from Sara. I did not bother to call or text her. I just deleted her phone

number as I was finished with her. My photographer took pics of the Fang model and he photo

shop his pics with Sara's that he took of her, added wings to Fang and added a background so

this is Temptest debut:

I never knew what ever happened to Sara but just like Chris P who modeled my

ComicBookGuy character, I will never work with Sara ever again.

A year or two passed and I wanted to bring Temptest back to life. I came across a new

modeling site and saw this model and said to myself she would make an awesome Temptest.

Her name was Jade and I contacted her via email and she responded. I set up an interview

and she was in and had no problem wearing vampire teeth. I had a makeup artist and Jade

suggested wearing a wig. My Kunai model at the time played her victim. Here are pics of Jade

as Temptest:

Jade then added a corset to the Temptest character. Here she is:

After that shoot, Jade left the project and returned back to school. She was very professional

unlike her predecessor, gave her feedbacks, gave suggestions to improve the character and

more. I was very grateful for her contributions and how she brought my character to life.

I suffered a loss of my mother in late 2011 and put a hold on some of my characters. Temptest

was one of them but someday I will bring Temptest back to life again.

In 2018, I was determined to bring Temptest back to life. My Shiverlique model called me and

had another friend who was interested in joining our team. We did meet and she was became

part of the team and was ready to become Temptest at the Power Ranger Convention here in

Orlando Fl but she left as she received an offer she couldn't refuse. I wished her well and told

her to keep in touch as the doors are always opened for her.

I was not going to give up as I wanted to bring Temptest back to life. I went on Model

Mayhem and came across a model who I felt would be perfect as Temptest. Her name is Candi

Vain. I emailed her via Snapchat and then we spoke and she was very interested. We met in

person and the rest is history as I found my Temptest model. Here is a sneak peek of one of

Temptest's updates:

What is next for Temptest? Stay tune to find out.
